Environmental awareness in our manufacturing
At Kostako, we care deeply about the environment and are committed to reducing our carbon footprint. We recognise the huge negative impact that the textile industry can have on our planet, which is why we have taken steps to minimise our carbon footprint.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every step of our production. We use only organic materials and eco-friendly inks in the manufacture of our garments. We firmly believe that fashion can be both comfortable and responsible at the same time.
Furthermore, we strive to avoid overproduction. Instead of launching mass collections, we produce our garments consciously, responding directly to our customers' demand. This means that every garment you buy at Kostako is produced with care, attention and exclusively for your order, therefore reducing unnecessary waste.
To complement our online presence, we also offer small quantities of our collections in selected physical shops throughout the Basque Country. This allows us to connect with our local community and provide sustainable options at a regional level.

OUR STORY
Born on September 9th, 2022At Kostako, we consider ourselves as a little family of three, united by our passion and dedication to the project.
Design, web development and art work together to create a space where creativity grows and products come to life.
Our mission is the divulgation of Basque tradition and culture, as well as its myths, legends, animals and mythological beings. We are committed to preserve and share the richness of the cultural heritage of the Basque Country both locally and internationally.
This is our life project with which we also want to contribute to creating a better society for everyone.
Mental illness, climate change, gender equality and respect and empathy for those who are different are fundamental values to which we are committed.
