This painting presents a historical photograph taken around 1910 in the picturesque village of Bermeo. The image shows a beautiful fountain located in the center of town, with a statue of a young woman on the top.
The figure, known as "Taraska", was chosen in 1868 by Agapito Sarragua and represents Victory, although it is unknown why this particular figure was chosen.
The original image was in black and white, but has been transformed to color to give life and realism to the poster design.
